Coronavirus (COVID-19): change to service
During the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we have made changes to our services for vulnerable adults to make sure that they are both effective and safe.
See further information about changes to services.
Poole has access to a range of suitable housing options to meet the needs of care leavers. This includes Staying Put, supported lodgings, specialist supported housing schemes, a training flat, local authority tenancies and private rented accommodation.
Your accommodation will form part of your pathways plan and you will be supported in finding stable accommodation.
Shared lives schemes support adults with learning disabilities, mental health problems or other needs that make it harder for them to live on their own.
The schemes match someone who needs care with an approved carer. The carer shares their family and community life, and gives care and support to the person with care needs. More information can be found on the Poole FIS website.
