Delivering Poole's Infrastructure sets out our planning policy framework for development to play its part in delivering infrastructure to support growth. The Development Plan Document (DPD) and its supporting documentation identify our infrastructure priorities, costs, timescales for delivery, funding streams, delivery agencies and implementation mechanisms. The DPD also provides a robust evidence and policy base to support our negotiation of Section 106 planning obligations and underpins the Community Infrastructure Levy Charging Schedule.
In addition to the DPD is Poole's Infrastructure Programme which is a technical document providing an overview of the range of infrastructure projects required to support the Core Strategy growth. The PIP will act as a 'live' document, supporting the Core Strategy and Delivering Poole's Infrastructure DPDs, which can be updated and reviewed when required to keep track of infrastructure delivery during the plan period.

Issues and Options Consultation
The Issues and Options Consultation ran from 10 April to 22 May 2008 and the responses received informed the Preferred Options Consultation document.
Preferred Options Consultation
The Preferred Options Consultation ran from 9 August to 8 October 2010 and the responses received informed the Pre-Submission Consultation document.
The Pre-Submission Consultation ran from 4 April to 27 May 2011 and the responses received informed the Submission Document.
The Submission Document was submitted to the Secretary of State on 2 August 2011 with a Public Examination heard on 17 November 2011 followed by the Inspector's Report in January 2012.
At the council meeting held on 24 April 2012, we adopted the Delivering Poole's Infrastructure DPD accompanied by a Sustainability Appraisal.
