Coronavirus (COVID-19): change to service
Due to Coronavirus (COVID-19) we have made changes to parking restrictions in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.
All current valid permits and season tickets will be extendedby one month. We will review this after three weeks.
See further information about changes to services.
We have a number of resident zones that are individually identified by an alphabetic letter. Your permit will allow you to park within your zone only. The signs in your area will indicate which zone you require.
Most areas are restricted to open parking for 2 hours between Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm, except permit holders. The Old Town also has an evening restriction for permit holders only from 6pm - 8am.
Permits are issued to assist residents, their visitors and carers in parking their vehicles. The permits will allow the vehicle to be parked for an indefinite period in those areas restricted.
A list of properties entitled to permits, together with a list of zones and maps showing the appropriate parking bays can be found on our eligibility list, zone names and map page.
In addition, we have 3 car parks where resident car park permits are available to residents of certain roads. These are Green Road Car Park, St Mary's Road car park and Quay Visitors Car Park. Availability of these permits is subject to a waiting list. To enquire about being added to the list, please call Parking Administration on 01202 634240.

The permit must be clearly displayed for the concession to apply, failure to display the permit may result in the issue of a penalty charge notice. Permits will only be issued to those vehicles under 3500kg in weight.
