Coronavirus (COVID-19): change to service
Due to Coronavirus (COVID-19) we have made changes to parking restrictions in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.
All current valid permits and season tickets will be extended by one month. We will review this after three weeks.

We issue permits to healthcare professionals through their respective surgeries. Permits are issued to Healthcare professionals to assist in parking when making home visits to their patients. They cannot be used in the vicinity of your normal place of work or for administrative purposes. You can only park for the duration of the visit to the patient and the vehicle must be removed immediately on completion of the visit.
Permits cost £6 each and are valid for 12 months.
Where to park
The permit only allows you to park on a single or double yellow line (except where a loading ban is in force, indicated by kerb markings), in resident only bays and in limited waiting bays, when making an emergency visit.
Where not to park
The permit does not allow you to park in disabled bays, taxi ranks or taxi bays, bus stops or bus lanes, loading bays, or yellow lines where there is also a loading ban in force. The permit is not valid for Council Housing Land. You cannot park in surface car parks and on street pay & display areas. You cannot park in multi-storey car parks or near your place of work.
How to apply
Applications must be made by the surgery manager.
To apply, complete the healthcare surgery permit application formand enclose your cheque/postal order, made payable to Borough of Poole, together with photocopies of the supporting documents as set out on the form and post the application to:
