Meet our computer buddies
Are you struggling with your computer, laptop or tablet? Want to get online, or find out how to do a specific task? We have volunteer computer buddies in most libraries who can help you with your particular issue. Just drop in and ask, or make an appointment if you think you need a longer session.
Special equipment
Special keyboards, a trackball pointing device, and a large monitor are available. We also have an adjustable desk for wheelchair users at Poole Library. If you require any of these, please tell us when you book your computer session. Each library is fitted with a hearing loop.
Other ways to learn
We recommend the guides on the Digital Unite website.
Learndirect has lots of IT courses, some of which are free. To find what you are looking for, just use the search facility on the site.
If you would rather go to lessons on a regular basis, check out what Skills and Learning have to offer. From basic computer skills, to shopping on Ebay, there's something for everyone.
