Meet our computer buddies

Are you struggling with your computer, laptop or tablet? Want to get online, or find out how to do a specific task? We have volunteer computer buddies in most libraries who can help you with your particular issue. Just drop in and ask, or make an appointment if you think you need a longer session.

Branksome Library

  • Mondays 10.30am to 12.30pm
  • Wednesdays 2pm to 4pm

Broadstone Library

  • Thursdays 12pm to 2pm

Canford Cliffs Library

  • Mondays 2pm to 4pm
  • Tuesdays 10am to 12pm
  • Wednesdays 1.45 to 3.45pm

Hamworthy Library

  • Thursdays, 1pm to 3pm

Oakdale Library

  • Tuesdays, 10am to 12pm

Poole Library

  • Tuesdays, 1pm to 4pm
  • Wednesdays, 10am to 12pm
  • Thursdays, 10am to 12pm
  • Saturdays 10am to 1pm

Rossmore Library

  • Wednesdays 10am to 12pm

Special equipment

Special keyboards, a trackball pointing device, and a large monitor are available. We also have an adjustable desk for wheelchair users at Poole Library. If you require any of these, please tell us when you book your computer session. Each library is fitted with a hearing loop.
