The quickest and easiest way to register to vote is online. You'll just need your National Insurance number, date of birth and address.
You can only register yourself to vote. You can’t register a family member, even if they live in the same property.

You’ll get a letter from us confirming that you’re registered, or asking you for more information.
If you have received a Household Enquiry Form for your property
Please follow the instructions on the form and respond online. Alternatively you can add, delete or amend any details on the form and return it to us. We will then invite each new individual to register to vote or take steps to delete those no longer resident.
If you don't respond to the Household Enquiry form, you'll be sent a reminder. You may also receive a canvasser visit during the door-knocking stage.

You can apply to be included in the Register of Electors at any time. If your application is successful, you'll be added at the next monthly update.

There are no monthly updates during October and November because all households are asked to give their information to the Electoral Registration Officer during the Annual Canvass period. A Full Electoral Register will be published by 1st December 2019.
