Coronavirus (COVID-19): change to service

On advice from the government regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19)we have had to change the format and limit the amount of people able to attend each ceremony. Once you receive your “invitation letter” from the Home Office please email us on registrars.citizenship@bcpcouncil.gov.uk to request the next available ceremony.

Use the nationality checking service and find out what to do if you've just become a UK citizen. 

Find out how to apply to become a UK citizen on GOV.UK.

If you are an adult and have been given UK citizenship, you must go to a citizenship ceremony.

Get help with your citizenship application, make sure you have completed it properly and you have all the supporting documents.

The nationality document return service allows you to keep your documents while your online application for British citizenship is being processed.
