Beach accessibility

Beach accessible wheelchairs

We have 5 beach accessible wheelchairs available for wheelchair users; 3 of them can be used in the sea.

Contact Sandbanks Beach Office, giving 24 hours' notice, (please note the Beach Office is open on Sundays throughout the summer, but not contactable by email or phone) and we can arrange a wheelchair for you at the Poole beach of your choice (excluding Hamworthy and Lake Pier). You will have to pay a £25 deposit.

Sandbanks beach has Mobi-Mats to help wheelchair users move easily form the promenade onto the sand and closer to the sea. These are available between Easter and September.
